David Naden
David Naden trained at Granada Televison as a lighting camerman and became freelance in the late 1980s. He has 18 years experience in broadcast and corporate media.
David produced his first documentary in 1993 for Granada - an historical look at RAF Burtonwood and its association with the Americans. Since then he has produced, directed and filmed two six part series for Granada and Yorkshire TV.
David’s other credits include major BBC and ITV programmes and leading corporates.
His association with Torquil Boyd started in 1996 when they produced a BBC2 series together and has gone from strength to strength. Their most recent collaboration was on a documentary involving Sandhurst cadets in the re-creation of an heroic WW2 operation.
David has collaborated with Glyn Strong on several documentary series and shares her interest in aviation and defence subjects.
His passion is flying and he holds a private pilot’s licence.
